Jennifer Bonifield is a founding shareholder of the firm. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and her Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law. Ms. Bonifield is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts. She is a member of the Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, and Lee County Bar Associations, as well the Young Professionals’ Groups of both Manatee and Sarasota. Ms. Bonifield is a member of the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Florida Bar, and she is also a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Bonifield currently serves on the Florida Bar’s Eminent Domain Committee. Ms. Bonifield is adamantly dedicated to the protection of personal property rights as well as all civil rights protected by both the United States and the Florida Constitutions, and her practice focuses largely on eminent domain protection but also on advocacy of all property rights as a fundamental basis to any democratic society. Ms. Bonifield’s practice focuses on the areas of eminent domain, property rights, property transactions, and civil and commercial transactions and litigation. Throughout her years of practicing law, Ms. Bonifield has appeared before federal and state courts, mediators, and administrative authorities in a variety of capacities, throughout southwest Florida, including Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Lee, Orange, and Collier counties. Ms. Bonifield’s clients range from individual residents to nationwide corporations, and she has advocated their rights with equal vigor throughout the state of Florida. Ms. Bonifield does not represent authorities with the power of eminent domain; rather, she defends owners whose rights are being violated by such authorities.
